WHO AM I
My name is Raechel, I'm 19 years old. There are 5 things I spend most of my time on; photography, writting, pinterest, my boyfriend, and my family.
I'm a college student at Western Michigan University and enjoying every second of it.
If you'd like to get to know a little more about me, continue reading..
Once upon a time, I was born in a small town on the West side of Germany. My childhood consisted of building forts, making mudd pies, hoarding lots of money then spending it on things no one really needs, wrapping my toys and giftingthem to myself on christmas, hanging out with friends, and riding my bike practically everywhere.
This lifestyle continued until I was about 11, which is when my mom met a man who soon became my other dad and I was asked to swtich from German school to American School. Nine months later, I found myself on a plane headed to the U.S. to start a new life with my mom, step-dad, sister, and baby brother. We lived in Georgia for a little over ayear when homesicness took over my family's life and we found a way to move back to Germany. Only this time, we were six hours away from "home".
I spend 3 years living in a town called Baumholder which to my surprise, were some of the best 3 years of my life. But of course, in this lifetime of mine, living in a place for a long period of time is something that doesn't exist. So, once again we packed our bags and in June of 2012 I found myself on a plane back to the U.S. only this time we were headed to Hattiesburg, Mississippi. By this time, I was a junior in high school and had never attended a school with more than 500 students, but that was all about to change.
The school I attended, was called Oak Grove High School. Population? more 1,000 less than 10,000? The place where I learned who I was, who I wanted to be and who I would become. I met some great people, had my first real relationship and grew up to be the womanI am today. School wasn't that great, my grades were good, I made great friendships, but that was about the extend of it. After a few things went awry in a realtionship I was in, I found myself, once again on a plane escaping to Michigan.
There I lived with my dad and baby brother, drove a sweet new car, and made some of the greatest friends. My senior year of high school, was everything I could have wished for.
Fast forward another year to my graduation on June 1st 2014. The end of a book and the beginning of the sequel.
Today, I'm a college freshman at Western Michigan University, a beautiful place with beautiful people. This blog was inspired by my want and need to share my adventures throughout college and beyond. The experiences I am making and the goal I want to achieve. Enjoy the rest of the blog, and have a beautiful day.
xoxo Raechel
