A beautiful view of the river that we crossed before getting to the little Bavarian Town.

What's a beautiful river without a with for the future, after all.. we spent the last day of the year here.

Frankenmuth, Michigans little Bavaria.
As a German girl living in the U.S. it can be rather difficult sometimes to find a little piece of home in such a far away country. A couple of months ago, I was introduced to Frankenmuth, a town in Michigan (where I just happen to live) that is known for it's German city style. Frankenmuth is known for it's beautiful town, fests, and Bronners Christmas Store.

Who says walking barefoot through snow covered sand is a bad idea?

What's a trip to Chicago without some of it's famous pizza?

Seeing Lake Michigan, the city, and the ant sized people from the 103rd floor of Willis Tower, may have been the Highlight of our trip.

Chicago, Illinios
The initial plan for this years big spring break trip, was to travel to Virginia and go on a hiking adventure in the mountains. Sadly, with money and everything, that trip was postponed until further notice. Yet, instead of sitting around at home on our week off, my boyfriend and I decided that it would be a fun idea to travel to Chicago. I'd never been so this was an adventure I couldn't pass up. It's save to say that this trip has been one of my favorite so far. Seeing all of the art work displayed around town, the Large Chicago Bean, beautiful River Walk and much more.

South Haven, Michigan
Have you ever experienced a really cold winter, where water freezes what seems to be instantly? Our trip to South Haven in January, was one of the most craziest things I've seen in person. The beautiful beach was transformed into a thick layer or ice. The photos don't do justice to how beautiful and amazing it actually looked.
