On thursday, my step-dad and I decided to take a trip to Gramisch and stay at the Edelweiss Resort for Military Families. We left my home town at around 9:00am and headed towards Munich. Three hours later we arrived and settled for a restaurant called "Hofbrauhaus" where we ate lunch and drank a beer. After lunch, we set out on a little tourist tour which was lead by ourselves. after touring Munich four a bunch of hours, we headed back towards the parking garage to make our way to Garmisch. One hour later we made it to the beautiful mountains in Garmisch, there we stayed at a military hotel called Edelweiss. That night, we ate dinner and then rested for the adventures the next day. Friday morning we woke up at 6:30am and got ready to head toward Neuschwanstein Castle. During the hour drive, we drove through Austria which was absolutely breath taking. When we arrived to the Neuschwanstein Castle, we embarked on a 40 minute hike to get to a bridge called "Marienbruecke". This bridge overlooked the castle which was absolutely beautiful. After a couple hours on the bridge and at the castle, we headed back toward Garmisch where we shopped on base and bought an awesome Camera storage backpack. At around 14:00 we headed towards a mountain that was known for it's awesome Gorge. The hike leading up to the gorge was almost 1.5 hours long andabout 3 miles. When we got to the top, it was anything but what we expected. We had hike all the way to the top of a mountain which over looked valleys and hills and was absolutely gorgeous. There was a restaurant at the top which is where we took a break and drank a beer. After we finished out drinks, we headed towards the Gorge which was named "Hell Valley". We paid 4 euro to enter the gorge and what waited for us on the other side of the gate, was nothing short of beautiful. We hiked through the mountain for another hour and a half and then headed back around. After taking about 500 pictures and videos, we made our way back to the bottom of the mountain. Once in the car, we headed back to my moms house on a 3.5 hour car ride. The end.
